Our Story
Born from a Simple Idea
Giving Thursdays started with a question: what if going out felt as good for the community as it did for you? We believed Denver's vibrant social scene had untapped potential to drive real, local impact.
So we built a model where everyone wins. Venues fill their space. Guests enjoy a free, curated social experience. And a local cause receives a percentage of the venue's revenue from the evening — no gimmicks, no asterisks.
Every event comes down to the same idea: that generosity and a good night out aren't mutually exclusive. Show up, enjoy the city at its best, and leave knowing a local cause is better off for it.
How the % Model Works
Simple. Transparent. Impactful.

Venue Partners
A Denver venue opens its doors on a Thursday evening and pledges a percentage of that night's revenue to the featured cause.

Free for Everyone
Guests attend at no cost. No ticket price, no cover charge — just show up, socialize, and spend what you'd normally spend on a night out.

Cause Receives A %
At the end of the night, the venue donates a percentage of that evening's revenue to the featured cause. Transparent, verified, and real.
